Wedding Menu Ideas
There are countless possibilities for a wedding menu
plan. Listed below are four examples based on weddings that we have catered
in the past. These menus illustrate a variety of styles and prices. Two
are "buffet," and two are "sit down" menu choices.

SIT-DOWN RECEPTION
The events listed below are based on a four hour reception,
consisting of: Hors d'Oeuvres (1+ hour), Buffet or Sit-Down Meal (1 _ hours),
and Dessert(1 hour). All events include fresh vegetables, homemade rolls
and butter, coffee, hot tea, iced tea and fountain sodas.
Prices INCLUDE the following:
- Open Bar (house liquors) during the Hors d'Oeuvres
period
- plus house Red and White wine with the meal.
All prices plus tax and 18% gratuity. |

Special Notes about Set-Up and prices
for Catered Events
Receptions Held in the Palladium Main Dining Room

The prices listed under "Wedding Menu Ideas" are based on
holding receptions in the Palladium main dining room, which can accommodate
up to 110 seated or 175 standing. Depending on the exact date and time
of your event, there may be a charge for the use of the room. Included
in the price are our regular tables, chairs, linen, silverware, glassware,
flowers, candles, and other essential items. These standard supplies are
very high quality; still you are still permitted to make other arrangements,
for an additional charge. Such arrangements could include, for example,
round tables, white chairs, elaborate flower arrangements. We are more
than happy to help you tailor your wedding arrangements to your specific
requirements. |
Receptions Held at Other Locations
Other rooms in this building: Located below the restaurant are
the Wine cellar and the Lower lounge. These are more casual spaces than
the Palladium, which can each accommodate about 75 people (seated). They
can be combined to accommodate up to 150 people (seated). This space is
also available for a wedding ceremony.
Other nearby rooms: We are an approved caterer for all University
of Pennsylvania campus locations, including Bodek Lounge in Houston Hall
(1/2 block away, capacity 300 people seated, old-fashioned style), and
other Penn locations. In addition, we are approved caterers for: International
House (37th & Chestnut, various rooms, capacity 100-250,modern); First
District Plaza (38th & Market, up to 1200 people, modern); plus a number
of Fairmount Park Historic Houses in Philadelphia (various capacities).
Use of Palladium Outdoor Terrace
In warm weather, it may be possible to use our tree-lined outdoor terrace
on Locust Walk (seating for up to 70 people), for an additional charge.
A canopy which covers a portion of the terrace can also be rented.
